Introducing the Farmall Compact 25A Tractor
Case IH is expanding its offering with the addition of the Farmall compact 25A tractor to the popular Farmall lineup.
Boasting a 1.3-L naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder engine, the Farmall 25A tractor delivers 24.4 HP and 19.2 (Mechanical Shuttle model) or 17.1 (Hydrostatic Transmission model)PTO HP. A Tier 4 B/Final compliant engine offers improved power performance, increased efficiency and cleaner emissions.
Standard shuttle transmission features 12x12 (three non-synchronized ranges, four non-synchronized speeds). An optional three-range hydrostatic transmission is an excellent choice for loader work and mowing around obstacles.
The Farmall 25A tractor features standard MFD for improved traction and increased power to the ground.
A wide range of implements make the Farmall 25A tractor capable of handling a variety of tasks
Engine
Power Through Every Job
Models range from 24.4 to 40 HP (17.1-34 PTO HP). A turbocharged, 3-cylinder, 1.9-L engine (1.3-L naturally aspirated engine on the 25A) delivers increased power to the Compact Farmall A series tractor lineup. These engines also provide greater displacement and up to 20 percent greater torque output over previous models.
Common Rail Direct Injection (Models 35A/40A)
The latest fuel-injection technology, offering several advantages, including improved power performance, increased efficiency and cleaner emissions.
Tier 4 B/Final Compliant (Models 35A/40A)
Engines use an internal Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system to meet Tier 4 B/Final requirements. A 50-hour Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration interval helps you get your work done without interruption.
Transmission
Transmission Options To Meet Your Needs
Choose the standard mechanical shuttle or the popular 3-range hydrostatic option:
Mechanical Shuttle With Synchro Shift
The standard shuttle transmission features 12x12 (three non-synchronized ranges, four-non synchronized speeds).
Hydrostatic Transmission
A 3-range hydrostatic transmission is also available. Featuring simple, 2-pedal operation and infinite ground speeds, the hydrostatic transmission is an excellent choice for loader work and mowing around obstacles, such as outbuildings and fences, or any task requiring frequent directional and speed changes.
Operator Environment
Make Work Easier
The idea behind owning a compact tractor is to make work easier. Staying comfortable goes a long way toward that goal — and that’s exactly how we designed the Compact Farmall A series tractors.
- Comfort - wide steps provide easy access and exit, a choice of hand and foot throttles, cruise control (on HST models) and an adjustable suspension seat
- Convenience - easy access to all controls and levers, constant engine speed button (35A and 40A models only) for tasks that require a steady engine rpm, as well as a factory-installed loader joystick – standard on all 35A and 40A models and on 25A models when ordered with a loader
- Visibility - all-around visibility from the tractor seat, a sloped hood for unobstructed sightlines, and well-placed controls without inhibiting visibility
PTO
Power Take-Off For all Operations
Mid-mount
PTO Power mid- and front-mount equipment, such as mowers and snow blowers. A factory-installed mid-mount PTO is an option on both the hydrostatic and mechanical shuttle transmission options.
Speed Options
A rear, independent 540-rpm PTO with electro-hydraulic engagement comes standard and drives all your 3-point-mount and pull-behind implements. The mid-mount PTO is manually engaged, but controlled with the electro-hydraulic PTO switch and operates at 2,000 rpm.
Hydraulics
Hydraulics Made For Maximized Productivity
Flow Rate: An 8.2 gallons-per-minute hydraulic flow (7.9 gallons-per-minute hydraulic flow on the 25A series) gives you the power you need for all kinds of heavy lifting, from loaders and backhoes to rear blades and rotary tillers.
Loader Lift Capacity: Compact paired with Case IH L340A loader: 1,250 lb. at bucket pivot point.
Remotes: Farmall compact A series tractors (models 35A/40A) arrive from the factory with a standard mid-mount valve for loader hookup. For even greater flexibility, add an optional rear remote.
Hitches
Efficiently Handle Any Job
3-Point
Telescoping stabilizers simplify implement attachment. A single turnbuckle levels attachments. Mechanical positioning and an adjustable drop rate put you in complete control.
Hitch Lift Capacities
1,433 lb., 24 inches behind the ball ends
Extendable Drawbar
Two-position drawbar lets you customize hitched implements to your desired position or move the drawbar to keep it out of the way when not in use.
